The comparative analysis of characteristics of external and intrahigh school monitoring of system of the quality assurance of teaching is given in the article. The system of the quality assurance of teaching of St. Petersburg University Of Humanities and Social Sciences and supporting monitoring researches are considered. Recommendations for the organization of research monitoring in high school for high quality of teaching are resulted.
